Clinical Services Policy

Clients receiving clinical mental health services through Mate Masie Healing are not permitted under any circumstances to participate in, book, or receive any holistic services offered by Mate Masie Healing, including but not limited to:
Retreats
Ceremonies
Somatic or spiritual experiences
Workshops or wellness events
This policy exists to:
Maintain professional and ethical boundaries
Avoid dual relationships and conflicts of interest
Protect client confidentiality
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and professional licensing standards
Booking Restrictions
If a current or former clinical client books any holistic service, the appointment will be canceled immediately without exception, and no services will be rendered.
Clinical clients are also not permitted to attend any retreats or group experiences offered on the holistic side of Mate Masie Healing.
HIPAA Compliance and Confidentiality
Clinical services are governed by federal and state confidentiality laws, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Holistic services are not clinical treatment and are not governed by HIPAA in the same manner.
To protect client privacy and prevent any unauthorized disclosure of protected health information (PHI), no crossover between clinical and holistic services is allowed for any client receiving therapy through Mate Masie Healing.
