Therapy at Mate Masie Healing is a collaborative, trauma-informed process designed to support safety, insight, and sustainable change.

We begin by getting to know you — your experiences, concerns, strengths, and goals. Early sessions focus on building trust and emotional safety, because meaningful healing happens when your nervous system feels supported, not rushed.

As therapy continues, we work together to:

  • Increase awareness of trauma responses and emotional patterns

  • Develop coping, grounding, and regulation skills

  • Gently process past experiences using evidence-based approaches

  • Apply insights and skills to daily life, relationships, and transitions

Sessions are paced intentionally and guided by your readiness. You are never pushed to disclose or process more than feels safe. Treatment plans are individualized and may evolve over time as your needs and goals shift.

Therapy is not about “fixing” you. It is about understanding what your system has learned in response to stress and trauma — and helping you build new ways of feeling safe, connected, and grounded in your life.
